  • Your oranges will stay fresh longer in the refrigerator, but most will last for four or more days at room temperature.
  • California Navels are the ideal oranges for eating out of hand. Kids love "orange smiles"; simply cut the orange in half crosswise, then cut three or four wedges from each half.
  • Use up every bit! The zest adds great flavor to many dishes. Run some peels through your garbage disposal to freshen it up.
