Watermelon Freedom

Ingredients

  • 1 cup watermelon chunks, divided
  • 1 ½ oz vodka
  • ½ oz cranberry juice
  • 3 oz lemon-lime soda
  • Lime slice (optional for garnish)

Steps

    1. Cut watermelon into ½-inch cubes. Place ½ cup watermelon on small baking sheet and freeze 1 hour (or overnight).
    2. Muddle vodka and remaining watermelon in cocktail shaker. Add ice and cranberry juice; shake well.
    3. Place frozen watermelon cubes and ice in a Collins (or pint) glass; strain drink into glass and top with lemon-lime soda.
    4. Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
