Ingredients
- 4 chunks fresh pineapple (+ wedge and leaf, optional for garnish)
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 4 leaves fresh mint
- 2 leaves fresh basil
- 2 oz bourbon
- 2 dashes bitters
- ½ oz simple syrup
Steps
- Muddle pineapple chunks, lemon juice, mint, and basil in cocktail shaker.
- Add bourbon, bitters, simple syrup, and ice; shake well.
- Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with pineapple wedge and leaf, if desired.
Other Preparation Methods
Kick up the pineapple.
Add ½ oz pineapple juice.
Not a fan of bourbon?
Substitute rum for the bourbon.
