Shannon McManus, RDN, LDN
As manager of customer wellness, Shannon leads the way for all Publix nutrition programs and initiatives that help our customers along their journeys to better health. She provides nutritional guidance in product development to our internal buyers—and manages our monthly health content, nutritional database system, and wellness icons and programs that help customers achieve their goals. In addition, Shannon works to expand health and wellness initiatives tailored to customer needs across our stores.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in food and nutrition from Florida State University, Shannon completed her dietetic internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. As a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist, she has received a Certificate of Training in adult weight management, and completed the childhood and adolescent weight management programs for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
When she’s not at the office, Shannon spends time with her family and keeps up her running and exercise routine.
Jennifer Patzkowsky, MS, RDN, LDN
As Publix’s lead corporate dietitian, Jennifer shares her extensive knowledge and keen understanding of food and nutrition with all business areas, departments, and stores. She stays on the cutting edge of nutrition guidelines, wellness trends, and health goals—helping Publix continue to offer the best options for our customers.
A registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist, Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in nutritional sciences with an emphasis in health promotion from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She also received a Certificate of Training in adult weight management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Even on her days off, Jennifer likes to explore new culinary trends at local restaurants.
Kalee McGee, RDN
The newest member of our corporate dietitian team, Kalee serves as nutrition specialist—managing the Publix nutritional maintenance system as well as our Better Choice shelf tags program and Publix wellness icons.
She holds a double Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics and public health nutrition from Kansas State University. Kalee completed a dietetic internship in the Sarasota (Florida) County Schools Food and Nutrition Services and worked as a nutrition analyst for the School Nutrition Services at the Polk County (Florida) School District, with an emphasis in menu development and specialized diets.
Outside of her role at Publix, Kalee enjoys traveling and expanding her knowledge of nutrition and exercise.
