Whiskey Prosecco Punch with Grape and Mint

Ingredients

  • 1 (750-ml) bottle prosecco, chilled
  • 2 cups grape juice, chilled
  • 1 cup whiskey
  • ¼ cup Mint Simple Syrup (recipe below)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Fresh mint leaves and/or skewers of frozen red grapes

Steps

    1. Stir together in a punch bowl or large pitcher: prosecco, grape juice, whiskey, Mint Simple Syrup, and lime juice until blended.
    2. Garnish with fresh mint and/or skewers of fresh red grapes to serve. Serve chilled.

    Mint Simple Syrup
    Pour ½ cup boiling water over ½ cup sugar in small bowl; stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in ¼ cup packed fresh mint leaves. Cover and chill at least 4 hours. Strain mixture through a wire mesh sieve. Discard mint leaves. Makes ¾ cup.
