Ultimate Meatball Hoagies

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons garlic-herb butter
  • 24 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 1 (15 oz) package cooked meatballs with sauce
  • ½ cup fried peppers and onions
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 2 tablespoons basil pesto
  • 4 Bakery hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Steps

    1. Set butter out to soften. Preheat oven to 425°F. Halve pepperoni (about ½ cup). Heat meatballs following package microwave instructions.
    2. Combine peppers and onions, olives, pesto, and pepperoni. Cut rolls open lengthwise; spread butter over insides of rolls.
    3. Halve meatballs; divide meatballs and sauce among rolls. Top with pepper mixture and cheese. Arrange hoagies on baking sheet; bake 6–7 minutes until cheese is melted and meatballs are 160°F. Serve.
