Ingredients
- 4 slices cowboy (or turkey) bacon
- 1 medium vine-ripened tomato
- 1 ripe Hass avocado
- 2 slices Bakery avocado (or everything) bread
- ½ teaspoon everything seasoning, divided
Steps
- Cook bacon following package instructions (wash hands).
- Cut tomato into ¼-inch-thick slices, then cut each slice in half. Halve avocado and remove pit. Scoop out flesh from one-half avocado into small mixing bowl; mash until slightly chunky and easy to spread. Scoop out flesh from remaining half avocado and slice.
- Toast bread. Spread each bread slice with mashed avocado, then top with tomatoes and sliced avocados. Sprinkle each slice with ¼ teaspoon seasoning and top with bacon. Serve.
Chefs Tip: Spread mayonnaise on 2 toasted bread slices, then top with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado to make a California-style BLT.
