Turkey, Apple, and Brie Open-Face Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • Aluminum foil
  • 1 medium Gala apple
  • 4 oz Brie cheese
  • 1 loaf Bakery Tutto Pugliese bread
  • 12 oz thin-sliced turkey breast
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup spring mix salad blend
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinaigrette

Steps

    1. Place oven rack 12 inches from heating element and preheat oven to broil on HIGH. Line baking sheet with foil. Core and halve apple, then cut each half into 4 thin slices. Cut Brie into 8 (¼-inch-thick) slices. Cut 4 (1-inch-thick) slices from bread.
    2. Arrange 4 even piles of turkey on baking sheet. Arrange slightly overlapping piles of apples and Brie on top of turkey. Coat bread with oil and salt. Arrange bread on baking sheet next to turkey.
    3. Broil 3–4 minutes until cheese has melted and bread is toasted. Top each bread slice with 1 portion turkey mixture. Place salad mix and vinaigrette in medium bowl, toss to coat. Top sandwiches evenly with salad greens. Serve.
