Ingredients
- 3 lb chicken wings (or drummettes)
- 1 (5 oz) bottle hot sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- Nonstick aluminum foil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Steps
- Place wings in slow cooker (wash hands). Combine hot sauce, honey, and paprika. Pour over chicken and stir to coat.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH 2–2 ½ hours until wings are pull-apart tender.
- Preheat broiler on HIGH; place oven rack in middle position. Line baking sheet with foil. Transfer wings to baking sheet; broil 5–6 minutes, flipping halfway through cook time, until wings are browned and 165°F.
- Whisk cornstarch and water until blended; pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH 4–5 minutes until sauce has thickened. Transfer wings to serving platter and top with sauce; serve.
