Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken wings (or drummettes)
  • 1 (5 oz) bottle hot sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • Nonstick aluminum foil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Steps

    1. Place wings in slow cooker (wash hands). Combine hot sauce, honey, and paprika. Pour over chicken and stir to coat.
    2. Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH 2–2 ½ hours until wings are pull-apart tender.
    3. Preheat broiler on HIGH; place oven rack in middle position. Line baking sheet with foil. Transfer wings to baking sheet; broil 5–6 minutes, flipping halfway through cook time, until wings are browned and 165°F.
    4. Whisk cornstarch and water until blended; pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH 4–5 minutes until sauce has thickened. Transfer wings to serving platter and top with sauce; serve.
