Ingredients

  • 4 Bakery hoagie rolls
  • 1 (12-oz) can white albacore tuna in water
  • ¼ cup reduced-fat salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 cup spinach
  • ¼ cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup alfalfa sprouts

Steps

    1. Slice rolls, leaving ½-inch uncut to hold top and bottom slices together; place rolls on serving plate. Drain tuna, then place in mixing bowl with salad dressing, relish, onions, and black pepper; mix well.
    2. Cut tomato into 4 slices (removing core if desired), then cut slices in half. Divide spinach among bottom half of rolls; top with even amounts tuna mixture, carrots, sprouts, and tomato slices. Serve.
