Ingredients

  • 2 strawberries (+ more, optional for garnish)
  • 2 basil leaves (+ more, optional for garnish)
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 3 oz champagne

Steps

    1. Muddle strawberries and basil leaves in cocktail shaker. Let stand 2 minutes (or more) for flavors to blend.
    2. Add ice and orange juice, shake well, and strain into a champagne flute.
    3. Top with champagne. Garnish with strawberry slice and basil, if desired.

Other Preparation Methods

    Add some kick.
    Substitute orange liqueur for the orange juice for a little more kick.
