Sriracha Shrimp Fondue

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons fresh chives
  • 1 lb peeled/deveined large shrimp, tails removed
  • ¼ cup cooked bacon pieces
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 (10 oz) container lobster bisque
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 4 oz pasteurized processed bar cheese
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz bagel chips, for serving

Steps

    1. Chop chives and shrimp finely (wash hands).
    2. Preheat medium saucepan on medium 1–2 minutes. Place bacon and garlic in pan; cook 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until garlic is golden. Stir in shrimp; cook and stir 3 minutes.
    3. Combine bisque, milk, sriracha sauce, and chives; add to shrimp mixture. Simmer 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
    4. Remove pan from heat; stir in cheeses until melted and blended. Serve with bagel chips for dipping.

    Chef's Tip: Drizzle with sherry for a gourmet twist.
