Ingredients
- 1 medium head green cabbage, about 2 lb
- 1 small sweet onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon ginger spice paste
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
Steps
- Thinly slice cabbage, onion, and garlic. Heat large sauté pan on medium-high for 2–3 minutes. Place oil, butter, onion, and garlic in pan; cook 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until onions soften. Add cabbage and salt to pan and cook 2–3 more minutes, stirring often, until cabbage begins to wilt.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is crisp tender; serve.
