Ingredients
- 1 lb trimmed fresh green beans
- 1 small shallot
- 1 (14.5 oz) can reduced-sodium chicken broth (or water)
- 2 tablespoons garlic-herb butter
- Chopped fresh herbs (optional)
Steps
- Remove stems from green beans; chop shallot finely. Place beans and broth in large sauté pan on medium-high; cook 4–5 minutes until tender; drain.
- Return pan with beans to heat; add shallots and butter. Cook and stir 1–2 minutes to melt butter and blend flavors. Garnish with fresh herbs, if using.
