Sautéed Spinach and Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 (9 oz) bag fresh spinach

Steps

    1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium. Place olive oil and garlic in pan; cook 1 minute or until fragrant.
    2. Add spinach; cook and stir 3–5 minutes until spinach is wilted. Serve.
Other Preparation Methods
    • Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine in 9-inch square baking dish: 2 cups chopped spinach, 8 oz softened cream cheese, and 2 tablespoons butter. Top with ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese; bake 30 minutes.
    • Boil: Add 9 oz spinach to ½ cup lightly salted boiling water; cover and cook 3–5 minutes until wilted. Drain and stir into your favorite cooked pasta.
