Saucy 'Shroom Turkey Cheeseburgers

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 oz prediced onions (¾ cup)
  • 4 oz sliced baby portabellas
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 4 ground turkey patties (4–6 oz)
  • ½ teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • ½ cup ranch salad dressing
  • ¾ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 hamburger buns

Steps

    1. Preheat grill (or grill pan). Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Place butter in pan, then add onions, mushrooms, and steak sauce; cook and stir 4–5 minutes or until softened and browned. Remove from heat; set aside.
    2. Season patties with Montreal seasoning. Place burgers on grill; cook 3–5 minutes on each side and until 165°F.
    3. Place cheese slices, ranch dressing, and mustard in microwave-safe bowl; cook on HIGH for 60–90 seconds, stirring twice, or until cheese melts and sauce can be blended. Place patties on bottom half buns; top with onion mixture, cheese sauce, and top half buns. Serve.
