Ingredients

  • 1 orange, for slices
  • 1 lemon, for slices
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • ½ cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups unsweetened iced tea
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 cup pulp-free orange juice
  • 3 cups unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup turbinado sugar
  • 2 ½ cups chilled sparkling red grape juice

Steps

    1. Slice orange, lemon, and apple thinly, then layer slices in pitcher. Top with cranberries.
    2. Whisk tea and honey until honey is dissolved. Pour mixture into pitcher with fruit. Add cranberry juice, orange juice, and cinnamon stick; stir to blend and chill 1 hour.
    3. Dip rims of serving glasses into corn syrup, then into coarse sugar. Fill each glass one-fourth full with sparkling grape juice, then top with sangria mixture; serve.
    Note: For an adult beverage, use 4 ½ cups dry red wine in place of tea and grape juice.
