Rock 'n' Roll Burgers

Ingredients

  • 4 Bakery French hamburger buns
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • 4 lean ground beef patties (1 ½ lb total)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

Steps

    1. Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Slice buns open. Slice onion thinly (¼ cup). Mash banana in medium bowl; add honey and stir until blended.
    2. Microwave bacon following package instructions. Season burgers with salt and pepper, then place on grill (wash hands). Grill 3–4 minutes on each side until burgers are 160°F.
    3. Spread 1 tablespoon peanut butter inside bottom half of each bun; top with banana mixture, burgers, onions, bacon, and top halves of buns. Serve.

Microwaves vary; adjust time as needed.
