Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lb)
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons pepper
- Nonstick aluminum foil
- ¼ cup olive oil
Steps
- Thaw turkey, if needed. Preheat oven to 325°F. Combine oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Line roasting pan with foil. Remove turkey from packaging and drain well, then place in roasting pan on rack; pat dry with paper towels. Rub turkey with seasoning mixture; then coat with oil (wash hands).
- Roast turkey following package instructions until browned and 165°F. Let stand 15 minutes before carving. Serve.
