Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 (15.25-oz) can black beans, drained
  • ¼ cup salsa
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps

    1. Preheat small saucepan on medium-low 2–3 minutes. Remove pan from heat; coat with spray. Add beans to pan and mash with potato masher until consistency of lumpy paste.
    2. Stir in salsa and cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated.
    3. Top with cheese, cover, and remove from heat. Let stand 2 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve.
