Ingredients
- 12 Deli sweet (or dinner) rolls
- ¼ cup cheddar Jack cheese spread
- 5 slices Muenster cheese (about 4 oz)
- 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon cilantro stir-in paste
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Leave rolls connected; do not break apart or separate. Slice rolls in half horizontally to open. Spread cheese spread on cut side of bottom half of bread; top with cheese slices. Combine mayonnaise and herb paste; spread on cut side of top half of bread.
- Melt butter. Pour one-half butter into 9-inch square baking dish; place bottom half bread in dish. Place top half of bread cut-side down onto bottom half; drizzle with remaining half butter. Bake 12–15 minutes until top is browned and cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
