Ingredients
- ⅔ cup canola oil
- 3 ripe plantains
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
Steps
- Preheat oil in large sauté pan on medium 2–3 minutes. Cut off ends of plantains and remove skin. Cut plantains in half, then cut each piece in half lengthwise; coat with sugar.
- Fry plantains (in batches) 2–3 minutes on each side until golden. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels; serve warm.
