Pizza Muffin Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) bakery rolled pizza dough
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, for dusting
  • ⅔ cup pizza sauce (+ more, optional for dipping)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian bread dip seasoning

Steps

    1. Let dough stand 30 minutes to come to room temperature.
    2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat 12-cup muffin pan with spray.
    3. Dust work surface lightly with flour; roll dough into 16- x 10-inch rectangle. Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough. Top with pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
    4. Start on long side and roll dough into log, pressing to seal long edge. Use serrated knife to cut dough log into 12 equal rolls; arrange cut-side down in muffin cups.
    5. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and 165°F. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle roll-ups with seasoning. Let stand to cool 5 minutes before serving. Serve with additional warmed pizza sauce, if using.

    Chef's Tip: Add your favorite pizza toppings, such as sliced fresh mushrooms, peppers, and onions, before rolling up.
