Ingredients
- 4 medium tomatoes
- ½ small, fresh jalapeño pepper
- ½ small red onion
- ¼ bunch fresh cilantro
- 1 lime, for juice
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- Tortilla chips (optional for serving)
Steps
- Chop tomatoes (3 cups) and place in medium bowl, discarding seeds and pulp.
- Chop jalapeño, (removing seeds and membranes if desired), onion, and cilantro finely; combine with tomatoes.
- Squeeze lime juice over tomato mixture and season with salt; toss to coat. Serve with tortilla chips, if using.
