Ingredients
- ½ cup roasted red peppers
- 2 cups coleslaw mix
- ¼ cup lemon vinaigrette
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 ½ lb ground chuck
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup crispy fried onions
- Cooking spray
- ½ cup sweet and spicy barbecue sauce
- 4 hamburger buns

Steps
- Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Chop peppers coarsely. Combine coleslaw mix, vinaigrette, and salt until blended; set aside.
- Combine ground chuck, cheese, crispy onions, and peppers until blended. Form into 4 patties (wash hands). Coat patties on both sides with spray; grill 4–5 minutes on each side until grill-marked and 160°F.
- Spread 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce on inside of each bun. Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; top each with ½ cup slaw. Complete with top buns; serve.
