Meatball Marinara Hoagies

Ingredients

  • 16 frozen meatballs (about 1 lb)
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • ¼ cup garlic spread
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or 4 oz sliced)
  • 4 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook meatballs following package instructions.
    2. Meanwhile, heat marinara in medium saucepan on medium until hot. Slice open hoagie rolls; remove some of the center if desired. Spread garlic spread on cut sides of rolls. Arrange on baking sheet and bake 4–5 minutes until bread is lightly toasted.
    3. Place meatballs in sauce and stir to coat. Spoon meatballs and sauce into rolls; top with mozzarella and Parmesan, if using. Bake 4–5 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve.
