Maple-Bourbon Sour

Ingredients

  • 1 small sprig fresh rosemary (+ more, optional for garnish)
  • 1 ½ oz bourbon (or honey bourbon)
  • ¼ oz lemon juice
  • ⅓ oz maple syrup

Steps

    1. Rub rosemary sprig between hands to release flavor.
    2. Fill cocktail shaker with ice; add rubbed rosemary, bourbon, lemon juice, and maple syrup.
    3. Shake well; strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with additional rosemary, if desired.

Other Preparation Methods

      Go for comfort with a hot toddy.
      Put bourbon and lemon juice in mug; add 2 tablespoons honey and ¼ cup hot water. Stir until honey is dissolved; garnish with cinnamon stick.
