Layered Fruity Freezer Pops

Ingredients

For strawberry layer
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries (about 10 oz)
  • 1 cup strawberry (or regular) lemonade
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
For blueberry layer
  • 1 ½ cups frozen blueberries (about 7.5 oz)
  • 1 cup strawberry (or regular) lemonade
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
For yogurt layer
  • 1 ¼ cups whole milk plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Steps

    1. Prepare strawberry layer. Place all ingredients in blender; blend until pureed and smooth. Pour into medium bowl (makes about 2 cups); rinse blender.
    2. Prepare blueberry layer. Place all ingredients in blender; blend until pureed and smooth. Pour into second medium bowl (makes about 2 cups); chill until ready to use.
    3. Prepare yogurt layer. Place all ingredients into third medium bowl. Stir until blended and sugar has dissolved (makes about 1 ½ cups); chill until ready to use.
    4. Prepare pops. Arrange 12 (4 oz) silicone freezer pop molds on baking sheet. Spoon (or pour) about 2 tablespoons strawberry mixture into each mold. Freeze 45 minutes.
    5. Spoon about 2 tablespoons yogurt mixture into each mold. Insert sticks and cover loosely to hold sticks in place. Freeze 45 minutes.
    6. Pour about 2 tablespoons blueberry mixture into each mold (do not overfill). Adjust sticks if needed and cover tightly. Freeze 4 hours (or overnight) until solid.
    7. Hold molds under running water 30 seconds, then remove freezer pops carefully. Serve.

    Chef's Tip: Remaining mixtures can be made into additional freezer pops by dividing among other molds or ice cube trays if desired.
