Kentucky Hot Brown on Sourdough

Ingredients

  • Nonstick aluminum foil
  • 4 (1-inch-thick) slices Bakery sourdough round bread
  • 4 oz aged white cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley
  • 8 slices fully cooked bacon
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons shredded (or shaved) Parmesan cheese
  • 6 oz sliced Deli roasted turkey breast
  • 6 oz sliced Deli Tavern ham

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F; line baking sheet with foil. Arrange bread slices on prepared baking sheet. Shred cheddar. Chop tomato (½ cup) and parsley finely. Cook bacon following package microwave instructions, then chop coarsely.
    2. Bake bread 3 minutes or until toasted. Arrange turkey and ham evenly on bread. Top evenly with cheddar and ¼ cup Alfredo sauce; bake 4–5 minutes until cheese sauce is bubbly and meat is 165°F.
    3. Preheat broiler on HIGH. Broil 1–2 minutes until sauce just begins to brown. Garnish sandwiches with bacon, tomatoes, Parmesan, and parsley. Serve.
