6 servings
2 hours, 20 minutes total (Active 20 minutes)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag charcoal briquettes
  • 3 lb pork baby back ribs
  • 3 tablespoons barbecue seasoning
  • 1 (24- x 12-inch) sheet aluminum foil
  • 1 cup bacon ranch salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle hot sauce

Steps

    1. Preheat grill (or charcoal grill following package instructions). Coat ribs with barbecue seasoning; place in center of foil (wash hands). Combine dressing and hot sauce; pour one-half sauce over ribs (reserve remaining half). Bring up ends of foil and double-fold both sides to completely seal ribs.
    2. Place foil pouch on grill over indirect heat; close lid and cook 2 hours, turning occasionally, or until tender.
    3. Remove ribs from foil; place ribs on grill and cook 3–4 minutes on each side or until grill-marked. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon seasoning. Serve ribs with reserved half sauce on the side. Note: Ribs can be baked at 350°F for 2 hours and served with sauce on the side.
