Ingredients
- 8 cloves garlic
- 4 green onions, divided
- 2 limes, for juice/wedges
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 tablespoons green curry paste
- 2 cups water
- 3 lb snow crab clusters
- 1 (8.8 oz) package naan bread
- ½ cup unsalted butter
Steps
- Slice garlic and green onions (½ cup) thinly. Juice 1 lime (1 tablespoon); cut remaining 1 lime into wedges. Preheat large saucepan on medium 2–3 minutes. Place oil, garlic, and ¼ cup green onions in pan; cook 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until garlic softens.
- Stir in curry paste and cook 30 seconds to bloom spices. Add water and bring to a boil. Add crab (wash hands), cover and steam 3–4 minutes until crab is 145°F. Remove lid and transfer crab legs to serving platter; simmer until liquid has reduced to about ¼ cup.
- Meanwhile, warm naan bread following package directions.
- Remove pan from heat and stir in lime juice, butter, and remaining ¼ cup green onions until butter is melted; pour curry butter over crab or into small bowl. Serve crab and curry butter with warm naan and lime wedges on the side.
