4 servings
30 minutes total

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons garlic and onion seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons garlic stir-in paste, divided
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions (optional for serving)

Steps

    1. Place ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, seasoning, and 2 tablespoons garlic paste in large bowl. Mix well and shape into 4 burger patties (wash hands).
    2. Preheat large cast-iron skillet (or grill pan) on medium 3–4 minutes. Cook burgers 4–5 minutes each side until 160°F.
    3. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and remaining 2 tablespoons garlic paste until blended. Toast buns if desired.
    4. Arrange bottom buns on work surface; top with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, if using. Complete with burger patties and mayonnaise mixture; serve.

Chef's Tip: Crispy fried onions would be a great topping for these burgers.
