Ingredients
- ½ cup cinnamon candies
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- 9 cups cranberry-apple juice, divided
- 5 limes, for juice
- 5 ½ tablespoons half-and-half
- 1 liter ginger ale
- Candy canes, cinnamon sticks, or mint leaves (optional for garnish)
Steps
- Chop cinnamon candies, if needed. Place candies, cloves, and 1 cup cranberry-apple juice in small saucepan on low; simmer and stir 2–3 minutes until candy has dissolved. Chill cinnamon syrup 5 minutes or until cold. Juice limes (5 tablespoons).
- Combine in cocktail shaker (or jar): 1 tablespoon cinnamon syrup, ½ cup cranberry-apple juice, 1 teaspoon lime juice, and 1 teaspoon half-and-half; shake well. Pour into an ice-filled cocktail glass; top with ¼ cup ginger ale.
- Repeat step 2 until all glasses are filled. Garnish cocktails with candy canes, cinnamon sticks, or mint leaves, if desired.
