Ingredients

  • 2 Bakery glazed donuts
  • Cooking spray
  • 3 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps

    1. Tear donuts into 1-inch pieces. Coat 1 (12 oz) ceramic coffee mug with spray. Combine in small bowl: milk, egg, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir (fold) in donut pieces.
    2. Pour mixture into mug. Microwave on HIGH 1 ½–2 minutes until center is 160°F (microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed). Let stand to cool 1 minute before serving.
    Caution: Mug will be hot; touch mug only by handle. Top with fresh fruit and honey, if desired.


Other Preparation Methods

    • Waffle: Heat waffle iron following manufacturer's instructions; coat with cooking spray. Place 1 donut in center of waffle iron. Close and cook 1 minute. Serve with butter and syrup.
