8 servings
30 minutes total

Ingredients

  • 4 dried figs
  • 4 pitted, dried dates
  • 1 wheel (or wedge) Deli Brie cheese (14–17.6 oz)
  • ¼ cup fig spread
  • 1 (8 oz) Bakery baguette
  • ¼ cup jumbo mixed raisins
  • ¼ cup pecan halves
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Remove stems from figs; slice figs and dates thinly. Remove Brie from packaging; shave off top rind, if desired.
    2. Place Brie in small baking dish (or cast-iron skillet) and top with fig spread. Bake 5–6 minutes until cheese starts to soften.
    3. Meanwhile, slice baguette; toast if desired.
    4. Top Brie with figs, dates, raisins, and pecans, then drizzle with maple syrup. Bake 4–5 more minute until cheese is gooey and toppings are warm. Serve immediately with baguette slices.

If fruits and vegetables are part of this recipe, be sure to wash thoroughly.
