Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) package French green beans
- ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette
- ½ cup grape tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup shaved Parmesan cheese
Steps
- Bring 1 quart of water to boil. Add green beans to water; boil 3–4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain beans and immediately place in bowl with 1 cup ice cubes and 1 cup water; let stand 3–4 minutes to shock (stop the cooking process).
- Drain beans thoroughly and pat dry, then toss with vinaigrette. Top with tomatoes and cheese.
