Classic Bacon Cheeseburgers

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ lb Kobe-blend ground beef burgers
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 teaspoons ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons cooked bacon pieces
  • 4 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 8 pickle chips

Steps

    1. Preheat large sauté pan (or grill pan) on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Season burgers with salt and pepper. Place burgers in pan (wash hands); cook 3–4 minutes on each side until 160°F.
    2. Meanwhile, slice onion and tomato. Spread 1 teaspoon ketchup on bottom half of each bun, then sprinkle with 1 tablespoon bacon bits. Spread 1 teaspoon mustard on top half of each bun.
    3. Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; top with cheese, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and top halves of buns. Serve.
