Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 10 cilantro leaves
- Lime wheel (optional for garnish)
Steps
- Combine salt, sugar, and red pepper, if using, on small plate. Moisten rim of rocks glass and dip into mixture, then fill glass with ice.
- Fill cocktail shaker with ice; add tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and cilantro leaves.
- Shake well; strain into prepared glass. Garnish with lime wheel, if desired.
