Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups water
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
Steps
- Heat oil in 3-quart saucepot over high for 2–3 minutes; add rice and stir to coat. Sauté rice, stirring occasionally, until lightly toasted.
- Stir in water and cover pot with lid. Bring to a boil in about 4 minutes (there should be steam coming out from under the lid). Remove pot from heat and set aside 20–25 minutes (do not remove lid).
- Stir in cilantro and salt before serving.
