Chili-Cheese Hot Dogs

Ingredients

  • ½ small red onion
  • ½ cup chili-cheese (or plain) corn chips
  • 1 cup sauerkraut
  • 1 (10 oz) can hot dog chili sauce
  • ½ cup cheese dip
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 hot dogs
  • Toothpicks
  • 4 split-top hot dog buns
  • 4 teaspoons prepared mustard

Steps

    1. Chop onion finely (¼ cup). Crush corn chips lightly. Drain sauerkraut. Heat chili sauce and queso following package instructions.
    2. Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium. Wrap 1 slice bacon evenly around each hot dog; secure with toothpicks (wash hands). Grill hot dogs 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until bacon is crisp and hot dogs are 165°F. Toast buns on grill if desired.
    3. Spoon ¼ cup chili sauce in bottom of each bun. Place hot dogs on top of chili. Top evenly with cheese, sauerkraut, mustard, onions, and corn chips; serve.
