Ingredients
- 4 gourmet steakhouse burgers (about 2 lb)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 4 slices Havarti (or mozzarella) cheese
- 4 brioche hamburger buns
- 4 Campari tomatoes
- ¼ cup creamy Parmesan (or Caesar) dressing
- 4 leaves green leaf lettuce
- ¼ cup basil pesto
- 4 teaspoons balsamic glaze
Steps
- Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Season burgers with salt and pepper (wash hands). Place burgers on grill; cook 3–4 minutes on each side until 160°F.
- Top burgers with cheese and let melt. Toast buns if desired. Slice each tomato into thirds. Spread dressing evenly on bottom halves of buns.
- Place lettuce on top of dressing; add burgers. Place 3 slices tomato on top half of each bun; dollop with 1 tablespoon pesto and drizzle with 1 teaspoon glaze each. Serve.
