Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 oz wedge Parmesan cheese, with rind
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 cup Fairlife 2% Reduced Fat Ultra-Filtered Milk
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 ½ lb trimmed fresh green beans
Steps
- Bring 4 cups water to boil in large stockpot. Remove rind from Parmesan (reserve) and shred cheese (about ¼ cup). Smash garlic. Stir into pot: milk, butter, garlic, Parmesan rind, and salt; return to boil.
- Add green beans and reduce heat to medium. Cook 7–8 minutes until green beans are desired tenderness; drain. Arrange on serving platter and top with shredded cheese. Serve.
