Breaded Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • Nonstick aluminum foil
  • 3 ¼ lb cut-up whole chicken
  • ¼ cup lite zesty Italian salad dressing
  • 1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Large zip-top bag
  • Cooking spray

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F; line baking sheet with foil. Place chicken in large mixing bowl (wash hands). Pour dressing over chicken; stir to coat evenly.
    2. Place bread crumbs and Parmesan in bag, seal, and shake to mix. Add chicken to bread crumb mixture. Seal bag and shake until chicken is evenly coated.
    3. Arrange chicken on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with any remaining bread crumb mixture, then coat with spray. Bake 45 minutes or until coating is golden and chicken is 165°F. Serve.
