Ingredients
- 1 jar marinara pasta sauce (24–26 oz)
- 24 bite-size frozen Italian-style beef meatballs
- 4 tablespoons garlic herb butter, softened
- 1 (15-oz) package classic slider buns
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (0.75-oz) package fresh basil leaves (optional)
Steps
- Place marinara sauce and meatballs in a large sauté pan on medium-low heat. Cover and simmer 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until sauce and meatballs are hot. Spread garlic butter evenly on inside of each bun.
- Remove pan from heat; top meatballs with cheese and cover 1 minute or until melted. Place two meatballs on each roll, top with basil leaf. Serve.
