Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb top sirloin for stir fry
- 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 (14-oz) package frozen stir-fry peppers and onions
- 1 lime, for juice
- 8 flour tortillas
Steps
- Combine in medium bowl: sirloin and seasoning until well blended. Preheat oil in large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes.
- Add meat to pan; cook and stir 2–3 minutes, until beef has browned. Stir in peppers and onions; cook 2–3 minutes, until pepper mixture is hot. Squeeze lime over top; serve with warm tortillas.
Other Preparation Methods
- Grill: Preheat grill. Season 1 ½ lb top sirloin with 1 teaspoon each: salt, pepper, and mesquite seasoning. Place on grill over direct heat; grill 3–5 minutes on each side or until steak is 145°F.
- Broil: Season 1 ½ lb top sirloin with 1 cup soy sauce and 1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning. Preheat oven to broil. Place steak on foil-lined baking sheet and broil 5–7 minutes on each side or until steak is 145°F.
