Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb pork loin boneless country-style ribs
- 1 tablespoon mesquite barbecue seasoning
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- ⅔ cup root beer
- 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
- 1 (28 oz) can baked beans
- 8 tablespoons sliced fresh green onions, divided
Steps
- Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Coat ribs with seasoning (wash hands). Add oil to pan; swirl to coat. Place ribs in pan; Cook 3–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides. Meanwhile, whisk barbecue sauce, root beer, and mustard in small bowl until blended.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; pour sauce over ribs and cover. Cook 35–45 minutes until ribs are tender and 145°F, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in beans and 5 tablespoons onions; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until beans are thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with remaining 3 tablespoons onions. Serve.
