Ingredients
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- ½ cup apple juice
- 2 lb pork spareribs
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 325°F; line baking sheet with foil. Combine barbecue sauce and apple juice; reserve one-half sauce. Season ribs on both sides with salt and pepper; arrange on baking sheet (wash hands). Spoon remaining sauce over ribs.
- Bake 2 hours or until ribs are tender and 185°F; serve with reserved sauce.
Other Preparation Methods
- Grill: Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Grill 2 lb pork spareribs over indirect heat 2–2 ½ hours until tender and 185°F. Combine ½ cup oyster sauce, 3 tablespoons chili-garlic sauce, and 2 teaspoons soy sauce. Baste ribs with sauce during last 15 minutes of grilling; serve with remaining sauce.
