Baked Sweet Ribs

Ingredients

  • Heavy-duty aluminum foil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • 2 lb pork spareribs
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 325°F; line baking sheet with foil. Combine barbecue sauce and apple juice; reserve one-half mixture.
    2. Season ribs on both sides with salt and pepper; arrange on baking sheet (wash hands). Spoon remaining sauce over ribs. Bake 2 hours or until ribs are tender and 185°F; serve with reserved sauce.
Other Preparation Methods
    • Grill: Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Grill 2 lb pork spareribs over indirect heat 2–2 ½ hours until tender and 185°F. Combine ½ cup oyster sauce, 3 tablespoons chili-garlic sauce, and 2 teaspoons soy sauce. Baste ribs with sauce mixture during last 15 minutes of cook time; serve with remaining sauce.
