Ingredients
- Parchment paper
- ½ bunch Italian parsley
- 1 sprig fresh oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- ½ cup whole milk ricotta cheese
- ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside. Coarsely chop parsley (½ cup) and oregano (1 tablespoon). Combine in large bowl: parsley, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, ricotta, breadcrumbs, and egg until blended. Add beef and mix until just blended.
- Divide beef mixture in 12 even portions; roll each portion into a meatball and arrange in single layer on prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with oil; bake 15–20 minutes until 165°F. Remove baking sheet from oven and set aside to rest 5 minutes; serve.
