Ingredients

  • 4 slices GreenWise Organic Sprouted Multigrain Bread
  • 2 ripe Hass avocados
  • ¼ teaspoon pink (or kosher) salt
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Steps

    1. Toast bread. Peel, pit, and halve avocados; place flesh in bowl, then smash with a fork.
    2. Spread avocado onto toast. Sprinkle with salt and red pepper, then drizzle with oil.
Other Preparation Methods
    • Sauté: Place 2 tablespoons butter in nonstick skillet on medium; cook 2 slices of bread on each side until toasted, then top with scrambled eggs and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
    • Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut bread into bite-size cubes (about 3 cups); toss with 4 tablespoons melted garlic-herb butter. Bake 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and toasted. Serve croutons on Caesar salad.
