Avocado and Greens Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 bag chopped hearts of romaine (8–10 oz)
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes
  • ¼ cup diced fresh red onions
  • 1 ripe Hass avocado

Steps

    1. Halve garlic clove; rub cut edges over inside of salad bowl (discard garlic). Add oil and vinegar; whisk until well blended.
    2. Add salad blend, tomatoes, and onions. Halve avocado, scoop out flesh, and cut into bite-size pieces. Add to salad; toss to blend. Serve.
